Something inside me just caved in. Snapped like a twig under deliberately harsh footsteps.
This is an internal monologue with no thoughts. A soliloquy with no words. It’s just too dark to see.
Pieces of my body are missing.
Written between tears, nothing could ever make much sense. But it’s as true as the black and blue before my eyes before I hit the dead-end and realise that this is as far as I could have ever come.
My chest is like a jammed cylinder one minute; it gives way like dam gates the other.
There is nothing more painful than crying noiselessly.
